A Graduate Debs Ball is a formal event organised for students who have completed 6th year in Wesley College. It typically takes place in October after graduation or after the Leaving Cert exams. The Debs is a chance for recent past pupils to celebrate the end of their school journey together before they move on to college, work, or other paths. All the students dress in formal evening wear, attend a sit‑down meal, enjoy music and dancing, and mark the occasion with friends, classmates, and sometimes teachers. For many graduates, it’s one of the most memorable social events of their school experience—an opportunity to celebrate achievements, friendships, and the transition into adulthood.
