“When from Wesley forth we scatter...” Well, fifty years later, perhaps it’s finally time for “The Unscattering”.
We are now planning for our 50th School Reunion on Saturday 20th June 2026. It is hard to believe that half a century has passed since we sat our Leaving Certificate at Wesley College.
The celebrations to mark this remarkable milestone will begin with a tour of the Wesley College campus at approximately 11:00h (subject to final confirmation).
The afternoon will then be free for everyone to catch up with friends at their leisure and at venues of their own choosing.
Our second event is an early dinner at Carluccio's at 17:00h sharp. A section of the first floor has been reserved exclusively for our group, just as it was for our 40th Reunion. A set menu will be available, with choices for starters, main courses, and desserts. Breads and olives will be served while orders are being taken. As our tables are reserved until approximately 19:45h, it is important that everyone arrives on time.
The third event begins at 20:00h with a welcome drink at The Rag Trader, where space has been reserved for the group for the remainder of the evening.
Tickets, which include the three-course meal at Carluccio’s, a welcome drink at The Rag Trader, and all associated service charges for the group bookings, are €50.00 per person.
At your earliest convenience, please contact Bryan Leech at leechbd@gmail.com to reserve your place. Payment details will be forwarded once attendance is confirmed. Ideally, please contact Bryan by 18th May, even if it is simply to let him know that you are unable to attend.
Please help spread the word about the reunion. Reach out to old school friends, classmates, and anyone else who may not yet have heard about the event. After fifty years, there are still a few of us who remain surprisingly difficult to track down.
We very much hope to see as many of you as possible for “The Unscattering”.
Best regards,
Bryan Leech, Gay Veitch and Linda Young.
