"The death has occurred of Ian Breakey Kirkpatrick, Terenure, Dublin.  Gezer, Israel, formerly of Westbourne Road, Terenure, Dublin. Artist, chef and kibbutznik. 18th June 2026, suddenly, at home in Israel, after a long illness borne bravely and with unfailing cheerfulness. Deeply regretted by his beloved wife Limor, his sister Hilary Daly, his children Avon, Peri, Liam and Siân, daughters-in-law Chen and Yuval, son-in-law Amit, brother-in-law Stephen Daly, sister-in-law Hilary Kirkpatrick, former wife Hanna, his dear nieces and nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends including former pupils of Wesley College. Pre-deceased by his brother, Robert Kirkpatrick and his parents Billy and Betty. The funeral took place in Israel on 19th June."

Ian was in the Class of 1971 and his Father was our former Principal Mr Kirkpatrick 1973 – 1977 (having been Deputy Principal from 1949 – 1973).
